WORTHMANN AUTOMATION - DICHTHEITSPRÜFUNG bei FelgenUltrasonic testing system checks aluminium wheel rims for leaks. An enquiry from Norway started a development that overturned the conventional approach to wheel rim testing. Fundo Wheels placed an order with the special machine construction company Maceas for an automatic leakage testing system that operates with ultrasound.

Born in Strücklingen, today he is CEO of WORTHMANN Maschinenbau GmbH based in Barssel-Harkebrügge (District of Cloppenburg). The company is not only one of the leading customised machine manufacturers in the Weser-Ems region, but is also unique on a European and global scale. Having started business in an 800 square metre hall in Saterland, the company has specialised in individual overall solutions in machine and plant manufacturing and has undergone continuous upward development. Today more than 70 employees plan, design, manufacture, assemble and test the systems on a production area of 5,200 square metres.
